Skidmore?

Last night I read on the wiki that the "core search" has been canceled. But the wiki doesn't say that today. Anyone got the straight dope on Skidmore?

Stanford canceled its "core search." Someone erased the "Stanford" heading, but not the note beneath it. As such, the "core search canceled" refers to the Stanford search and not the Skidmore search.

That clears it up. Thanks!

Has anyone heard from Texas A&M, College Station or Dayton. I am beginning to think that they scheduled interviews but the people who got the interviews don't know about the wiki or they don't care to share.

What makes you think that about Texas A&M etc? Simply the fact that we have no information? Or something more specific? I think the wiki is rather reliable for the first two rounds (acknowledgments and APA/phone interviews), but then rather unreliable from there on in given that the number of people receiving the relevant information declines substantially.

Nothing tipped me to the possibility that interviews have already been scheduled except the fact that they had early application deadlines. And I guess I thought they would've scheduled interviews by now. Anyway, I am probably being paranoid.

Far more likely, I think, is that the searches have been canceled, or are about to be canceled. A different kind of paranoia.

Dayton has scheduled apa interviews

Ted,

Are you referring to the faith and culture position or the comparative philosophy position. And, why don't you update the wiki?

Anonymous said...

I only update if I have been invited for an interview. I can't spend my time checking the wiki every time a friend tells me they have an interview. not sure what position it is.

Say, where did the UNC Charlotte listing go? It was there at least a while back. Cover up, anyone?
